A free and open-source program called Freeplane helps people think, share content, and complete tasks at home, at work, or in the classroom.
The information in mind charts can be analyzed using the programming.
Important Features Include:
- Take note of taking with freely positioned, unconnected nodes( post-it’s’s ). creating a hierarchy of ideas( nodes ) with lines( edges ) connecting them. Nodes are categorized using metadata( attributes ) and different style types( system, user-defined, and level styles ). grouping nodes with accolade( summary node ) and visual containers( clouds ).
- Tasking with a calendar and reminders, watchword protection for the entire diagram and private nodes using Des encryption, user-friendly interface with line and dialog editors, object-oriented main menu, context menu options, multi-language support, spell checker, properties panel, drag-and-drop functionality, options for batch execution, publishing, sharing, and selectable preferences.

Freeplane can be used topically or portablely from removable depot, such as a Usb drive, and can run on any operating system with the most recent Java release installed.
